a 2 layer (or 3 thin layer) cake that is briefly covered in a base coat of frosting and ready for your decoration at home. The kit comes with the cake, 2-3 frosting bags, sprinkles or shimmer, and ideas on how to help you decorate..

You don't have ot come al teh way to Carina's Bakery to get your fix! You must preorder an item by midnight Monday to get the item brought on the route on Wednesday. Time slots cannot be changed unless we are ahead of schedule. You must preorder an item, no onsite sales at the time of pickup. To make this process easier, we have put everything under one multi-faceted "item" dedicated to the pickup day. Please read through options carefully.

Interactive and edible art, and inviting array of mini pastries, fresh and dried fruit, nuts (usually candied) that can be assembled into a make your own experience. Pastries can be sweet or savory, and include things like pistachio cake, lemon/fruit tarts, cream buns, sausage rolls, Housemade breads, vegan cheeses, and much more!

Semlor a Swedish tradition usually for lent, but has become merely year-round treat. Usually compose of a semi sweet cardamom bun, hollowed out and filled with almond paste, then topped with a generous pile of whipped cream before getting the lid of the bun put on top, the bun was initially meant to “hide“ it’s lusciousness for lent, but makes a unique party treat. With this package, we offer customization through different flavors of fillings, instead of almond paste, fruit, compote, sauces, and even different kinds of whipped cream to make your definition of lashes experience. The buns are a bit messy, but we can make them in mini sizes to fit your party meats. The bar is interactive and can be hosted or made for self service. Note that it usually includes a necessity for squeeze bottles and containers that will need to be returned or else extra charges will be applied.

A 96 oz, sturdy and enviro friendly carrier full of award winning coffee brewed form beans from Blind Coffee Company. You'll also get cups, lids, napkins, stevia packets, a cup full of sugar and a cup full of Oatly (or other milk on request) for guests to doctor their coffee as they wish.

Note: Dates may be narrowed down once signups begin as I sneed 3+ people to make a class work for the time intensive that it is! Pretend like you're enjoying life from the edge of a deep cold Swedish lake on a 85 degree ("hot") day with lush green landscape, nothing more than birds and laughing kids to listen to, a cold plunge to wake you up, and a summer barbecue to soak up afterwards. Swedish summers are for reveling in natural beauty, bounty, and teh gift of family and friends. You'll get to enjoy a piece of that in this class and enjoy freshly "foraged' mushrooms and veggies at their best. From a seafood (mushroom) salad accompanied by paper thin Swedish pickles, to flavorful sauces bursting with herbal flavor to accompany seasonal veggies that you'll learn to char to perfection even if you don't have access to a grill - to the prefect hot & cold seasonal dessert pairing - there's a lto in store!

Carina cooks with all her senses, and will help kids do that too - it may get a bit messy! Parents are invited to watch and step in to help kids getting too rowdy or who need a bit of an extra hand. Please include a note about what kind of experience you're looking for. Everything will be vegan (no dairy, eggs, other animal products. no negotiation there), and can be gluten free (note facility does have a little bit of gluten) on request. A parent is responsible for the needs of their own child.

Fika directly translates form Swedish to mean "coffee" (although the real translation of that "kaffe") but it's really so much more. It's a cultural movement, a practice. Nearly every day (usually twice) Swedes stop what they are doing, gather with coworkers, family, or friends, and have a cup of coffee and a little snack. At Carina's we have a daily Fika deal for $5, but we also give the opportunity to make it feel more special with an experience that is a combination of English high tea and Swedish Fika, featuring a selection of our favorite treats as well as tiny open faced sandwiches and other savory items. Everyone will leave full. Coffee or tea for each person included also.

Our almond cake was so popular, we had to create a spinoff! So, while pistachios are not a Swedish ingredient, they are one of my favorite and contribute extra butteriness to this moist cake. A drizzle of orange blossom icing brings a pop of flavor and addictivity!
