As proud Brazilians who love their country’s culture, tradition, and cuisine, our founders envisioned a place that would whisk its guests away on a unique and unforgettable culinary voyage to Brazil. In pursuit of this dream, the first Galeto Brazilian Steakhouse was opened in Oakland, CA in 2014. The cornerstone of the Brazilian Steakhouse concept is Brazil’s most traditional cooking style: the Brazilian churrasco (choo-has-sco), which features fire-roasted rotisserie meats cooked over hot stone coals. At Galeto, our expanded churrascaria overwhelms the senses with a cornucopia of flavors and styles, blending tradition and innovation.
