Etienne Bodet is a young gun we are super excited about. He worked with Sylvain Pataille and Romain Guiberteau (his uncle) before starting his day job at Clos Rougeard. This is his personal project. Quite the resumé! This wine is made in the Champagne method and shares the same citric vibrancy, toastiness, nuttiness, and seashell qualities!

Gruner is one of our favorite grapes because of how versatile it is! And when it's made by such a great farmer and winemaker it's an easy win. Apples and pears mingle with fresh-cut daikon radish and white pepper for a savory finish.

Aurelian is a stud! Trained by some of the best in the Rhone Valley, he makes wines that are both ageworthy AND beautiful in youth. 'Zelee' is a bottling of selected barrels that show exceptional precision and depth, and it's everything that we look for in Syrah. Blackberry, black cherry, smoke, bacon fat, green olives, and wild flowers. This is a perfect duck pairing if there ever was one!
