The Waugh Zinfandel is soft, flavorful and extremely balanced. Bright forward fruit, with fresh raspberry. Dark blueberry notes and that beautiful minerality found in Dry Creek Zins dominates the palate. Tightly knit and firm on the palate, it shows a beautiful balance between flavors of red and blue fruit, mixed spices, and its firmly structured tannins.

5 different vintages of 3 varietals, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. The Chardonnay delivers the weight and complexity, Sauvignon Blanc adds citrus and a crisp mouth- watering acidity, and the Riesling delivers floral and spice qualities and a lush texture. A beautiful rich color from the age in barrel and lees contact, this wine opens with the enticing scent of spearmint and pear as well as bright notes of orange and lemon pie. Its dry, fresh and crisp with round vibrant acidity

No Malo-lactic fermentation and no new oak used in the aging of Waugh Chardonnay. The wine is barrel fermented in 100% neutral oak and the lees is stirred at minimum once a week, which accounts for its incredible mouth feel. This Chardonnay has an understated nose of ripe apples and apricots with a creamy/yeasty undercurrent. The medium-bodied palate provides nice richness from lees stirring, with plenty of pure stone fruit and citrusy flavors supported by refreshing acidity, finishing long & creamy.

A blend of all our red varietals, Zinfandel, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa and Sonoma), Merlot, Petit Verdot, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Barbera. Extremely perfumed and floral with lilacs and violets to the sweet, ripe berries, such as blackberries and blackcurrants. It’s full-bodied, yet ever so balanced with super fine tannins that last for minutes. If you were not aware of what inspired Waugh Cellars business model and the Junior label, it was an episode of Seinfeld called The Opposite that really spoke to Ryan and the Waugh’s titled their business plan, The Costanza.

Single Vineyard, Single Clone, 337 and 100% new French oak. Represents the first vineyard Ryan ever designed and installed. This beautiful vineyard has given us a wine that shows luscious aromas of blackberry and cherry pie, cassis, sweet licorice with hints of lightly toasted oak. A silky and smooth mouthfeel with flavors of berry fruit, toasty vanilla, and hints of dark chocolate. Lively acid and beautifully polished tannins bring a long, lush finish.
