Shaah & Sheeko is the first Somali-inspired cafe in the Renton area, rooted in the tradition of shaah iyo sheeko — tea and talk/conversation. We specialize in handcrafted Somali shaah, savory items like sambusi, and culturally inspired lattes and specialty drinks. We are slowly expanding into lunch and brunch items. We currently have few lunch/dinner options. Our space is intentionally designed to feel warm and immersive, featuring Somali cultural artifacts, heritage pieces, and a curated wall of photographs that celebrate history, storytelling, and identity. Every detail — from the presentation of our tea trays to the ambiance — is meant to create a space where guests can slow down, connect, and gather. Shaah & Sheeko is proudly halal and community-centered. More than a cafe, it’s a cultural experience — a place to share stories, build relationships, and feel at home.
