Shaah & Sheeko is the first Somali-inspired cafe in the Renton area, rooted in the tradition of shaah iyo sheeko — tea and talk/conversation. We specialize in handcrafted Somali shaah, fresh pastries like garaafo (Somali donuts), savory items like sambusi, and culturally inspired lattes and specialty drinks. As we grow, we’ll be expanding into savory offerings and brunch, continuing to honor both tradition and creativity. Our space is intentionally designed to feel warm and immersive, featuring Somali cultural artifacts, heritage pieces, and a curated wall of photographs that celebrate history, storytelling, and identity. Every detail — from the presentation of our tea trays to the ambiance — is meant to create a space where guests can slow down, connect, and gather.
