Hair Bender is constructed with several goals in mind - namely floral aromatics of jasmine and lavender, ripe fruit notes of cherry or citrus, a caramel-like body and a lingering, sweet dark chocolate finish. The blend was originally crafted to be brewed as espresso but also shines in a variety of brew methods.

Natural spring water is used throughout El Injerto’s operations to move and process coffee, and to power a state-of-the-art hydroelectric power plant. The surplus electricity generated from the plant is sold back to the local grid. Coffee parchment becomes fuel for mechanical driers, and worms break down coffee cherry pulp to become fertilizer. El Injerto became the first Guatemalan farm to obtain Carbon Neutral Certification. Through solar panels, the entire operation functions with renewable energy.
