5.5% American IPA Nepenthe Brewing Baltimore, MD untappd rating 3.76 This one is a tribute to the wizards that mastered the art of sub-zero hop oil extraction. Eminently drinkable and refreshing. An icy cavern of Chinook, Cascade and Centennial found amidst a shrieking blizzard of Citra and Simcoe Cryo. Assertive notes of honeyed citrus, fresh winter pine, and whispers of what remains of summer's grassy verdancy. A frigid chill of bitterness howls across the palate to finish. Bury the world in ice yet again. Stay warm.

6.5% New England/Hazy IPA Other Half Brewing Co. Washington DC Untappd rating 4.13 Our Equal Parts series explores equal amounts of 2 hops in a bright hazy IPA base. In this version we are exploring the combo of Citra and Nectaron which is giving us notes of peach candy, orange juice, lychee and a little dank pine. This hazy IPA is a joint effort with our buds at Wet City. It is loaded with Mosaic, Denali, Citra, Kohatu, and Simcoe with a massive amount of wheat and oats.

This 5% ABV Orange Crush Sour Ale is approachable, easy drinking, and perfect for the warmer weather. We used “enter yeast”, a special yeast that produces a mild sour ale. Then we added orange puree giving it the classic citrus notes.

6% Sour Flanders Red Brouwerij Rodenbach Roeselare, Belgium untappd rating 3.65 This is an aged Belgian red ale, which is ‘ripened quietly in oak barrels for two years’, according to the label. It has an extremely pungent aroma of rich grapey fruit, with acidic notes, very much like a slightly sour red wine or possibly a gueuze. In the mouth it is slightly sweet, extremely acidic and fruity, with grapes and even cherries discernible, and very lively. Despite the sweetness it is not at all cloying, even thin, with little or no trace of malt. Finish is sharp and fruity.
